Hi, and thank you so much for taking time to read and reflect on my article, I really appreciate you sharing your perspective in so many details!

Regarding the matter of preferences, I would say, you are right to say it depends on the context: we largely try to work with data, but often have to take into consideration what our audience prefers, especially when it does not go according to our vision/business goals. Looking forward to reading your take on it!

As for "design for people", I absolutely agree we have to be mindful of communities, sustainable development, and the future of our planet, but it all ultimately places people in the centre of attention, it is all done for particular people and the humanity in general. But I also like your perspective: think beyond designing for human. I may need to reflect on it and think deeper about it!
